Becoming a new person/creation in Christ. This is a new spiritual birth through the blood of Jesus, it is not physical or in control of man or flesh. – John 1:13
We must trust Jesus Christ. We must repent from our sins and forgive those who have done us wrong. We must leave behind the old things, fornicating (sleeping/living with someone you are not married to), lying, stealing, hatred, gossiping, backbiting, adultery, etc. We are to start living a new life in Christ.
We allow change and correction to come into our lives daily by reading, studying, and applying. Be not conformed to this world: but ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Romans 12:2 If our minds are renewed, we are renewed. We become children of God.
Born Again Prayer
Lord Jesus I come to you today asking for forgiveness of my sins. I forgive those who have wronged me and I bless them. I ask You to make me a new creation, a new person, born from spirit not of the flesh. I leave behind the things I have done in my past and will do them no more. Lord, lead guide and direct me in all my ways. Amen
